My Rose Journey

The roses of my Grandmother’s Garden— I remember the first time I inhaled her beautiful aroma, the fragrance is deeply embedded in the wisdom of my Being. There was something different about these roses, more wild and delicate with painful thorns! I believe this was the beginning of my relationship with Rose in this lifetime.

While I was in herbalism school and also participating in a Subtle Energy course, I was reconnected to the Medicine Woman that had forgotten, and became immersed in the beauty, power, and magic of plants. Over the course of 9 months, Rose was speaking to me and sitting in ceremony, Rose became my medicine.

Rose has transformed me. With her support, my Heart has expanded and I have a deeper connection to the Divine. I feel more balanced and nurtured and have been able to put my heart and needs first. I’m able to hold stronger boundaries and allow myself to receive. The journey with rose has been incredibly powerful, nourishing and graceful!

As an herbalist, I am often asked by others what are your favorite herbs, or what herbs should I use for this? Rose is incorporated in most of my herbal formulas and preparations, as it is considered the Universal Healer. Rose medicine supports the physical, emotional, mental and Spiritual bodies and connects us to the energies of the Divine Feminine.

Working with plants and especially rose as medicine is a sensory experience…

The flower essence of Rose…

Embodies the spiritual love… Opens the heart so we can love ourselves more fully… Inspires hope, optimism & resilience… Brings joy into our lives and helps us become attuned to what is sacred.

Wild rose… helps to feel a sense of purpose that brings enhanced happiness and enjoyment… moving from a place of apathy and resignation to acceptance and joy.

Message of the rose…

To love and walk our truth freely and safely. Invoke to feel safety to love and be seen… inspires vulnerability and openness…. To feel comfort and nurtured… To connect with divine love.
